UNITED WE TASTE: Session 9 Special Edition South America

United We Taste has completed 2 months of consecutive programming and to be honest even though quarantine has been rough at times and even keeping up with this virtual tasting have had its moments I am proud that this how I spending my quarantine. The opportunity to bridge people together during these times is what keeps me motivated. Cheers for Entering Month 3!

To be honest I love learning from my peers they challenge me during tastings, force me to explore about regions I have not paid attention to since studying and the comradery of working together as a collective to foster each others development is also inspiring. In the movie Uncorked on Netflix, lead character, Elijah, was invited to join a tasting group right after a class mate blind tasted an Argentinean, Malbec from Alta Vista. Thank you to Kobrand we are tasting Alta Vista, Montes Alpha, and Bodega Morton together and l look forward to discussing our wine journey over South American wine.

Travel connect me to wine and so for this special edition I wanted to switch it up and invite some friends from my travel community to join us for this tasting as well. Since we will discuss South America and my 2 months in Chile is near and dear to me and my love for Chilean wines. My travel journey equally relevant to my story as wine. I am excited to have them in the tasting group sharing their travel tips and favorite memories in Argentina, Chile and beyond.
