UNITED WE TASTE: Session 5 Sake Takeover
Yes you read the title right! After completing 4 consecutive weeks of wine tastings around the world we are celebrating by taking a dip into a different beverage this week, SAKE!
I will always have a fond memory of Sake or shall I say scary, I was asked during my Certified Sommelier exam while prepping for Champagne service about Sake. To be honest I Froze! The topic came out of left field, but according to the criteria of the exam Sake was fair game. I must have said enough to be convincing because I passed and there is no mentioned of bombing my Sake portion. Here is where I get my sake news these days Sake Industry .
United We Taste is heading to Japan first via Instagram Live at Friday 9pm NYC time and Saturday 10am in Japan Time with Chris Hughes a Sake loving Brit living in Tokyo. Hughes is a certified WSET Sake Educator and SSI Kikisake - Shi.
